The Gulfstream kayak represents a union of effort between North America and Europe, through the collaboration of kayak designers from both continents. World-famous designer and paddler Derek Hutchinson has teamed up with Current Designs designer Brian Henry to develop the majestic Gulfstream kayak.

Building on the strengths of Derek Hutchinson's favorite kayak hull, Brian and Derek created the craft to deliver a magical blend of British flair and outstanding performance, with a North American influence, and high tech construction.

The Gulfstream is highly maneuverable and will appeal to those who want to make their kayak dance with a tilt of the boat and the stroke of the paddle. The Gulfstream responds beautifully. Both the highly experienced paddler and the novice will enjoy the Gulfstream because of its performance, as well as its forgiving nature.

The stern hatch is oval and measures 11" x 16 1/2". These conveniently designed hatches provide ample space for storing and retrieving gear.

The unique day hatch on the starboard side, just behind the paddler, has a 7 1/2" diameter round access hatch. The day hatch is within arm's reach of the paddler from the cockpit. A third bulkhead behind the access hatch makes this compartment self contained.

Features such as recessed deck fittings and perimeter lines are standard on every Gulfstream.

If you look good in a kayak, the Gulfstream will make you look marvelous!
