The term "Sea Kayaking" can be a bit misleading.
Most people who own flatwater kayaks prefer to paddle on rivers,
lakes, estuaries and bays. Whether you prefer flatwater paddling
or plan to do a multi-day trip off the coast of Maine, Adventure
Outfitters offers the finest and most complete kayak instruction
in all of New England. All courses are taught by American Canoe
Association and British Canoe Union certified instructors using
techniques developed with the above mentioned organizations and
our staff. Our classes are small, with a maximum student-teacher
ration of five to one. We pack more information into our courses
than other schools. We do this to offer the basics of sea kayaking
without the need to return and take more instruction at an additional
sum of money. Our philosophy is that kayaking is a lifetime pursuit
and our emphasis is on safety, technical skills, and enjoyment
of the sport.
